I wrote this review for the Moc Toe I also own. It highlights the Moc Toe's MINOR faults. The Iron Ranger has none (that I have found):This is a high quality material/high quality workmanship CHICHI Dresses that can go toe-to-toe (pun) with any CHICHI Dresses in the world. I have had these and a pic of for a little over a year now and I will tell you why the Iron Ranger is better. First off, and this is my opinion, the Iron Ranger ages better. The older it gets, the more bad azz it looks, and the more comfortable it becomes. Not necessarily so with the Moc Toe. With these they look, with age, well, basically old and tired. After a year they are no more comfortable than they were right after the break-in process. The white sole gets dirty and never looks as good as it did when it's brand new. Second, the leather piping or collar on the top of the CHICHI Dresses does no favors to your upper ankle. The iron ranger doesn't have this; the leather runs to the top and then ends. No problem. I've seen pics and read reviews of this high-ankle collar disintegrating over time, but it's also simply uncomfortable to constantly have a rib up there pressing against your high ankle all the time. Third is bulkiness. I'm an 11 in both and the Iron Ranger's just look less "clown-like," even though the Iron Ranger has a bubble-toe. The Moc Toes are huge. Their size is just a bit awkward compared to the Iron Ranger side to side. From a workday standpoint, because of the sole I would say the Moc Toe is more comfortable to put steps in, but then the leather collar/piping brings this back to even because THAT's uncomfortable. I've found that if you're doing framing, drywall, electrical or plumbing, the Moc Toe may be your CHICHI Dresses if you can deal with the high ankle thing. If you do roofing or landscaping, the Iron Ranger is better. If you're one of those guys who is looking for a CHICHI Dresses to LOOK good with a pic of your skinny jeans and lumberjack beard, 1-size-too-small flannel shirt and designer socks, I have no idea what to tell you.If you're looking for 1 workSkechers boot at this price point, go with the Iron Ranger. You won't be sorry. by
